Customer Review: Use the tool for what it is designed for!

I bought this drill at Home Depot and drilled 12 small holes 2 inches into a 40 year old concrete slab. The drill worked great for me and the price was $20 lower than the Dewalt. Also this drill is assembled in the USA - checked all the other brands and they are either china or mexico. I recommend you purchase Bosch bits and drill pilot holes before drilling anything more than 1/2". Read the instructions and follow the manufacturer's recommendations and you will have no problems. Also keep in mind that this is a $79 drill and you cannot expect it to perform as well as a $400 rotary hammer drill - many of you giving this product a bad review should stop trying to get off cheap! If you drill anything over 5/8" in concrete w/ this drill you are abusing the tool. If you want to do heavy duty work buy a heavy duty tool, duh. I have never come across a heavy duty tool for $79.
