Based on earlier reviews I read on-line, I ordered this bare saw. I already had 2 impact drivers (I was so pleased with my first, I bought a second for a back-up or a co-worker to use or so that I could be "totin' two.") I also had the 1/2 in. drill, the 1/2 hammer-drill, and the light. They're all good. So is this saw. No, it doesn't nearly equal my 71/4 in. Makita corded saw for sheer power, but this 18v. unit is sure handy, light and maneuverable, and crosscuts and rips 2x very smoothly and quite quickly. I have one charger and two 1.5 amp and two 3 amp batteries. I also have the 18v. blower, which I love for quick-and-easy on smaller blowing jobs. I may try the vacuum next, but I guess I'll need a couple more batteries to avoid a lot of swapping. So far, one charger is adequate, but I have had to warm the batteries in cold weather to get them to charge. Other than that inconvenience I am super pleased and surprised with this 18v line of tools for their ability to get their intended jobs done!
